A political scientist by training, Doris Dialer earned her MA and PhD in European Studies and IR from the University of Innsbruck and completed a MAS Program at the Universitas Indonesia Jakarta and Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta. She also has a BA in Translation Studies (German/English/French). Dialer has been working as am Acc. Parliamentary Assistant in the European Parliament (EP) since 2006 and lectures widely on the role of the European Parliament. She is Visiting Fellow at the Krems Danube University, the University of Innsbruck, the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI), the Berlin University for Professional Studies and the Alpeuregio Summer School at the Common Representation of the European Region “Tyrol – South Tyrol – Trentino” in Brussels (Belgium). Much of Dialer’s recent work focuses on the EU Parliament, EU Public Affairs (Lobbying), EU Regional Policy, EU Development Policy, EP Communications Policies and EP Election as well as the European External Actions Service (EEAS).
