Martina Fürrutter is a Research Fellow at the Chair for Political Science and European Integration Studies. She studied Political Science and International Economic and Business Studies at the Universities of Innsbruck and Zaragoza. In 2012, she graduated with an interdisciplinary Master thesis on Political Determinants of Regional Trade Agreements. Her PhD focuses on the Sanctions Policy of the European Union. Her Research concentrates on the functional, institutional and procedural scope of the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy and the cross-sectorial Analysis of inter-institutional Relations within the legislative procedures of the EU. Within ICER, she is responsible for research coordination.
